Francisco Fernandes

Francisco Fernandes is from Brazil. He graduated from American International College (AIC) with a degree in Sports Recreation and Management. Previous to AIC he went to Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) where he was the captain of the soccer team for two years as well making to the Nationals final his sophomore year. Francisco won All-American along other achievements. At AIC he was the soccer captain his senior year. Francisco graduated with a GPA of 3.81. He was a transfer student for AIC. Francisco holds his D coaching license. 
AS A SENIOR IN 2017:
* Team captain.
* Appeared in 16 games, starting 14 of them.
* Played most minutes of any AIC player and only person to appear in every game.
* Had an assist in a 2-1 loss to New Haven (9-26).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2016: 
* Named to Fall 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
* Appeared in 18 games, starting in 16 contests.
* Had three points on the season.
* Recorded an assist against Saint Anselm (9-17-16).
* Had a goal against Bentley (10-28-16). 
BEFORE AIC:
* Played at Bunker Hill Community College, where he was named Co-Rookie of the Year in 2014 and was an All-Region selection in 2014 and 2015.
* Named an NSCAA and NJCAA All-American in 2015.
* Team was a state and regional champion in 2014 and 2015, and was a NJCAA national finalist in 2015.
* Attended Somerville High, where he played from 2011-13 under head coach George Scarpelli and the team won three league titles between 2011-13.
* Was a Greater Boston League All-Star in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and League MVP in 2013.
* Named an Eastern Mass. All-Star, Boston Globe All-Scholastic and NSCAA All-Region in 2013
